Agent Settings is where you control how an agent behaves, who can access it, and what it can connect to.

Open Agent Settings

  1. In Console, open Agents.
  2. Select the agent you want to edit.
  3. Open the Settings view for that agent.
When you make edits, use Save Changes to apply them.

  • Collaborators: Teammates who can access and work with the same agent.
  • MCP servers: External tool connections that expand what the agent can do.

General Settings

Use this section to update the agent’s core behavior.

Change agent name or charter

  1. In General Settings, edit the name or charter text.
  2. Click Save Changes.
The name is what you and your team will see in lists and chat. The charter defines what the agent is supposed to do and how it should approach work.

Pause or reactivate an agent

  1. In General Settings, find the active/paused control.
  2. Toggle to pause or reactivate.
  3. Click Save Changes.

Change daily task credit behavior

  1. In General Settings, find daily credit settings.
  2. Adjust the limit or behavior.
  3. Click Save Changes.
Task credits are consumed as the agent performs work. This setting helps control how much work an agent can do over time.

Change intelligence level

If intelligence controls are available on your plan:
  1. In General Settings, find the intelligence selector.
  2. Choose the desired level.
  3. Click Save Changes.
Higher intelligence can improve performance on complex tasks, but may use credits faster.

Contacts & Access

Use this section to control who can communicate with the agent and how.

Configure primary channels

  1. In Contacts & Access, review primary email/SMS details.
  2. Use Email Settings (https://gobii.ai/console/agents/<agent_id>/email/) or the SMS setup flow shown in the console when available.
  3. Complete the channel setup, then return to the agent.
Use this when you want to change how people reach the agent, or how the agent reaches others.

Add or remove allowlist entries

  1. In Contacts & Access, open allowlist controls.
  2. Add or remove contacts as needed.
  3. Save if prompted.
Allowlist rules help prevent unexpected outreach by limiting communication to approved contacts.

Add or remove collaborators

  1. In Contacts & Access, open collaborator controls.
  2. Invite collaborators or remove existing ones.
  3. Save if prompted.
Collaborators are useful when more than one person needs to manage or use the same agent.

Integrations

Use this section to connect the agent to external systems and workflows.

Enable or disable MCP servers

  1. In Integrations, find MCP server assignments (managed globally at Advanced → MCP Servers).
  2. Turn specific servers on or off for this agent.
  3. Click Save Changes.
MCP servers provide tool access beyond default behavior. Enabling only what you need keeps behavior focused.
  1. In Integrations, open peer link settings.
  2. Add, edit, or remove links between agents.
  3. Save if prompted.
Peer links are typically used when agents need structured collaboration rather than separate, isolated workflows.

Manage outbound webhooks

  1. In Integrations, open webhook settings.
  2. Add, edit, or remove webhook entries.
  3. Save if prompted.
Webhooks are commonly used to push updates into other systems (for example, internal tools or automation platforms).

Actions

Use this section for ownership and account-level actions.

Reassign organization ownership context

  1. In Actions, open organization assignment options.
  2. Choose the target organization (or remove assignment when allowed).
  3. Confirm and save.
Reassignment changes which workspace owns and governs the agent.

Transfer ownership

  1. In Actions, open transfer controls.
  2. Enter the recipient details.
  3. Send the transfer invite and wait for acceptance.
Ownership transfer is used when long-term control of the agent should move to another person.

Delete an agent

  1. In Actions, open the delete option in the danger zone.
  2. Confirm the deletion prompt.
Deleting an agent is intended to be permanent. Confirm carefully before completing this action.
