Open Agent Settings
- In Console, open Agents.
- Select the agent you want to edit.
- Open the Settings view for that agent.
Key terms on this page
- Contact channels: The communication routes your agent can use, usually email and SMS.
- Primary channels: The main email/SMS identities your agent sends from and receives on.
- Allowlist: A list of approved contacts allowed to interact with the agent based on your rules.
- Collaborators: Teammates who can access and work with the same agent.
- MCP servers: External tool connections that expand what the agent can do.
- Peer links: Direct links between agents so they can coordinate in controlled ways.
- Outbound webhooks: Automated notifications sent from Gobii to another system when events happen.
- Charter: The agent’s core instruction or purpose statement.
General Settings
Use this section to update the agent’s core behavior.Change agent name or charter
- In General Settings, edit the name or charter text.
- Click Save Changes.
Pause or reactivate an agent
- In General Settings, find the active/paused control.
- Toggle to pause or reactivate.
- Click Save Changes.
Change daily task credit behavior
- In General Settings, find daily credit settings.
- Adjust the limit or behavior.
- Click Save Changes.
Change intelligence level
If intelligence controls are available on your plan:- In General Settings, find the intelligence selector.
- Choose the desired level.
- Click Save Changes.
Contacts & Access
Use this section to control who can communicate with the agent and how.Configure primary channels
- In Contacts & Access, review primary email/SMS details.
- Use Email Settings (
https://gobii.ai/console/agents/<agent_id>/email/) or the SMS setup flow shown in the console when available. - Complete the channel setup, then return to the agent.
Add or remove allowlist entries
- In Contacts & Access, open allowlist controls.
- Add or remove contacts as needed.
- Save if prompted.
Add or remove collaborators
- In Contacts & Access, open collaborator controls.
- Invite collaborators or remove existing ones.
- Save if prompted.
Integrations
Use this section to connect the agent to external systems and workflows.Enable or disable MCP servers
- In Integrations, find MCP server assignments (managed globally at Advanced → MCP Servers).
- Turn specific servers on or off for this agent.
- Click Save Changes.
Manage peer links
- In Integrations, open peer link settings.
- Add, edit, or remove links between agents.
- Save if prompted.
Manage outbound webhooks
- In Integrations, open webhook settings.
- Add, edit, or remove webhook entries.
- Save if prompted.
Actions
Use this section for ownership and account-level actions.Reassign organization ownership context
- In Actions, open organization assignment options.
- Choose the target organization (or remove assignment when allowed).
- Confirm and save.
Transfer ownership
- In Actions, open transfer controls.
- Enter the recipient details.
- Send the transfer invite and wait for acceptance.
Delete an agent
- In Actions, open the delete option in the danger zone.
- Confirm the deletion prompt.
