Dedicated IPs
Dedicated IPs provide stable outbound IP addresses for supported Gobii workflows. They are useful when a destination system requires allowlisting or when operations teams need predictable egress identity.
When to use dedicated IPs
Use dedicated IPs when:
- A vendor requires IP allowlisting.
- A sensitive internal service only accepts traffic from known egress addresses.
- Your organization needs clearer network-level audit posture.
- A high-value workflow should not share general outbound egress.
Do not use dedicated IPs as a substitute for authentication, authorization, or least-privilege credentials.
Manage dedicated IPs
Dedicated IPs may be available as a billing add-on depending on plan and deployment.
Open billing at https://gobii.ai/console/billing/ and review dedicated IP controls.
Operational notes
- Coordinate allowlist changes with the destination system owner.
- Keep documentation of which Gobii workflows depend on each IP.
- Remove unused IPs to avoid unnecessary cost.
- For self-hosted deployments, egress behavior depends on your infrastructure.
